The Championships is based around 4 events that are designed to test your overall fitness and athletic ability.
These will make up 50% of your overall score with the physique round making up the other 50%.
Transparency and fairness are two of the key values of the IFC so there will be a clear point system i.e. 10 points for 1st, 9 points for 2nd etc through to 1 point for 10th place.
The physique round is designed to showcase a strong, lean and athletic physique including stage presence. Each of the four criteria are worth 10 points each.
After the physique round competitors will move onto the events to try and score maximum points in each event.
All events are based on the athletes bodyweight, the athletes will be weighed on the morning of the show at registration and placed into the relevant a weight category for the events. The weight categories are for the purpose of the performance rounds only and will be in 2.5kg increments. This will determine the weight used in all the performance events. It is your responsibility to ensure that you make the correct weight category.
i.e: A female weighing 52kg bodyweight will be rounded up for the purpose of the events to 52.5kg, a female weighing 58kg you will be rounded up to 60kg and so forth.
Weight categories will be every 2.5kg.
The events will be timed over 1 minute and will be performed to strict rules which are outlined in the rules & regs section
